Alford Redden, age 81, of English passed away on Monday, November 17, 2025, at Jewish Hospital in Louisville, KY.

He was born on June 19, 1944, to Bob and Rosa (Stroud) Redden in English, IN.

He married Beulah Faulkenburg on August 31, 1985

Alford loved being outdoors, especially mowing and landscaping. He loved spending time with his children and grandchildren.
Alford was a current board member of the English Town Council.
Preceding Alford in death is wife Beulah, his parents, 2 sons, Chad Faulkenburg and Timothy Faulkenburg. A granddaughter, Sarah Jane Redden and a brother, Robert Redden.

He is survived by sons, Brian (Judy) Redden of Eckerty, IN, Todd (Tammy) Faulkenburg of Brandenburg, KY, daughter Tarra (Wayne) Carothers of English, IN, and daughter in law Andrea Faulkenburg of Corydon, IN. 10 grandchildren; Michelle, Amanda, Chad Michael, Josh, Madeline, Bobby, Samantha, Tori, Tanelle, Bree along with 15 great grandchildren. He is also survived by his brothers Randy, Roy, Darrell, David, Timmy, Carl and sisters Julie, Jeanie, Rosie and Joanie.

A graveside service will be Thursday, November 20, at 3:00 pm at Taswell Cemetery in Taswell, IN.

Officiating the funeral service will be Pastor Kim Allen.
