Allen Edward Simpson, 74, of Birdseye, IN passed away on April 20, 2021 at his home surrounded by his loving family.

He was born on February 10, 1947 to the late Fred R. Simpson and the late Ruth (Davis) Peckinpaugh.

Allen was a wonderful husband to Linda; he was a wonderful father and grandfather.  He was a US Army Veteran of the Vietnam War.  Allen loved to ride motorcycles and listening to music.  He is a member or the Jasper American Legion Post 47 and a lifetime member of the Jasper DAV Organization.

Allen is preceded in death by his parents and father-in-law Ray Philips.

He is survived by his loving wife of 28 years Linda (Phillips) Simpson, his children; Joshua Simpson, Jennifer Watson, Yevette McDonald, Christina Swaney, Crystal Marcum and Donald Marcum, grandchildren; Felicia and Tiara Watson, Donnie Marcum, Anissa Manwell and Kalyee Hunt, great grandchildren Adalee and Dugger.

A memorial will be held on May 15, 2021 at 12:00 pm Denbo Funeral Home with visitation starting at 11:00 am.  Burial will follow at Wickliffe Cemetery.  Bishop Gene will officiate the funeral service.
