Andrew Eugene Hammond, age 87, of Grantsburg, IN passed away on July 22, 2017 at JFK Assisted Living in Clarksville, IN.
He was born to the late Oscar Hammond and the late Rosa (Rainey) Hammond on August 7, 1929 in Grantsburg, IN.
Andrew was preceded in death by his parents, and siblings Romaine Martin and Stella Fast.
Surviving Andrew are his wife of 57 years Pauline (Ingle) Hammond, children Valerie (Nicholas) Roe and Bristol (Terry) Hammond and 2 grandchildren Bethany and Jenna Hammond.
Andrew loved his children and grandchildren. He also loved his Allis-Chambers C tractor, traveling, fishing and squirrel hunting. He will be missed greatly by family and friends.
Funeral service will be Saturday, July 29, 2017 at 11:00 am with visitation from 9:00 am at Denbo Funeral Home in English, IN.
Visitation will be Friday, July 28 from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Denbo Funeral Home.
Bro. Morris Larimore will be officiating the funeral service with burial to follow at Union Chapel Cemetery in Grantsburg.
In lieu of flowers donation may be made to the Carefree Christian Missionary Church Building Fund.
