Andrew Lark Hooten, age 66, of Taswell, IN passed away at his home with his family beside him on February 6, 2016.
He was born to the late Roscoe Hooten and the late Constance (Soika) Hooten in Indianapolis, IN on July 8, 1949.
Andrew married Tammy (Stone) Hooten on December 24, 2013.
Besides his wife Tammy, Andrew is survived by his children, Leslie (Sinead) Hooten of Indianapolis, IN, Jason (Sommer) Hooten of Fisher, IN, Ryan Hooten of Indianapolis, IN and Aaron (Sarah) Hooten of Fortville, IN. Also step-children Justin Stickney of Amherst, NH and Lacey Stickney of Mason, NH, brothers and sisters, Roscoe Hooten of Marengo, IN, Suzanne Hooten McClanahan of Greencastle, IN, Robin Hooten of Fort Wayne, IN, Dwight Hooten of English, IN, Dr. Mary Hooten Bivens of Muncie, IN and Elizabeth Hooten Clark of Middletown, IN and 6 grandchildren and 1 on the way.
Andrew was retired from Ford Motor Co. in Indianapolis, IN. and was a member of Tunnel Hill Methodist Church in English, IN.
Andrew was a Vietnam Army Veteran in which he was awarded The Bronze Star. He was also a member of the Masonic Lodge of Salem, IN # 21 where he was a 33 degree Mason.
Cremation was chosen with a memorial service at Tunnel Hill Church of English, IN on Saturday, February 27 at 1:00 pm
