Billy W. Grider, age 84, of Marengo, IN passed away on March 12, 2018 at Paoli Health & Living, Paoli, IN.
Billy was born on November 24, 1933 to Earl and Beahula (Dooley) Grider in Orange County, IN.
Preceding Billy in death are his parents, a son Billy Eugene Grider and sister Sharon Newman and son-in-law Billy Jo Jackson.
Surviving Billy is his wife of 65 yrs., Delora (Sprinkle) Grider, children Rick (Tina) Grider, Kathy Grider, and Sherri Jackson, grandchildren Penny Grider and James Grider, Dawn Wright, Joey Parks, Sheena Laswell, Wyatt Jackson, Trent Grider, Dylan Grider, great grandchildren Jared Purcell, Colten Purcell, Brittany Southern, Aden Grider, Mason Grider, Nickki Atwood, Makala Parks, Ryan Parks, Tommy Wright, Sam Wright, Bodhi Laswell, Brady Laswell, Rhiannon Laswell, Skylynn Grider, Bryson Grider, Holden Grider, great great grandchildren Mariah Purcell, Braylen Purcell, Brody Purcell, Kayleigh Wright, Dooley Wright, Braden Wright and Shaylynn Atwood.
Billy was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He was a member of the Marengo Masonic Post 475, American Legion Post 84 of Marengo, and VFW Post 6160 of English, Union Operators Local 181, and a member of the Disabled American Veterans.
Funeral service for Billy will be Sunday, March 18, 2018 at 2:00 pm at Dillman-Green Funeral Home in Marengo, IN.
Visitation will be Saturday, March 17, 2018 from 2:00 pm until 8:00 pm and on Sunday from 10:00 am until service at 2:00pm.
