Billy Leon Sprinkle, 89, of Marengo, IN passed away on Tuesday, March 3, 2020 at his home in Marengo, IN.

He was born on July 17, 1930 in Marengo, IN to the late Bennie and Lucille (Manship) Sprinkle.

Billie is a retired veteran of the Navy where he held the rank of Master Chief.  He enjoyed IU basketball and he went to most all Crawford County ballgames.   Billie enjoyed lawnmowing and ping pong games.  He was a member of the Christian faith.

He is preceded in death by his son Dennis Sprinkle, his parents; Bennie and Lucille Sprinkle, and his siblings Lester Sprinkle, Russell Sprinkle, Delora Grider and Della Wible.

He is survived by his wife of 64 years Frances (Adam) Sprinkle, children; Gary (Covina) Sprinkle, Kevin (LaDonna) Sprinkle, grandchildren; Gary Sprinkle, Brandi Tabor, Tiffany Sprinkle, Cody Sprinkle, Paige Sprinkle and Emily Sprinkle, great grandchildren; Lola Campbell, Madison Campbell, Emma Sprinkle, Blake Sprinkle, Emmett Campbell, Gracelyn Sillings, Lincoln Henning and Liam Tabor, sibling; Harold (Sandra) Sprinkle, Gene (Mary) Sprinkle, Peggy (Wayne) Bullington, along with many nieces and nephews and care giver Brittany Copper.

Officiating the funeral service will be Bro. John Culbertson with burial to follow at the Marengo Cemetery.

Funeral service we be held on Saturday, March 7, 2020 at 12:00 p.m. at Dillman-Green Funeral Home and from 9:00 a.m. until service time of 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.

Visitation will be on Friday, March 6, 2020 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Dillman-Green Funeral Home and from 9:00 a.m. until service time of 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
