Brooks Brubeck, age 84, of Birdseye, IN passed away on July 5, 2017 at St. Charles Health Campus in Jasper, IN.
Brooks was born on August 18, 1932 to Cecil and Alma (Deich) Brubeck in Orange County, IN.
Preceded Brooks in death are his parents.
Surviving family is wife of 65 years, Demona (Eckerty) Brubeck, sons Robert (Sharon) Brubeck of Findlay, OH, Alan (Chrystal) Brubeck of Aberdeen, Ohio, Bruce (Angie) Brubeck of Knoxville, TN and Ronald Brubeck of Indianapolis, IN, Daughter-in-law Julie Brubeck of Indianapolis, IN, grandchildren Shanna (Steve) Krieger of Indianapolis, IN, Robbie (Amber) Brubeck of Indianapolis, IN, Sarah Brubeck of Boston, Massachusetts, John Brubeck of Findlay, Ohio, and Shelby Brubeck of Indianapolis, IN, great grandchild Brooks Brubeck and Brother-in-law Jim (Sue) Eckerty of Wickliffe, IN.
Brooks is a veteran of the U.S. Army and served during the Korean War. He is a member of the Wickliffe United Methodist Church and the Newton Stewart Masonic Lodge 432.
He loved spending time with his family and friends and enjoyed helping others. He also loved to traveling and reading. Brooks will be missed.
Cremation was chosen with a Celebration of Life scheduled at a later date.
