Carol Faye Raines, 71, of English, Indiana passed away on Wednesday December 7, 2022 at IU Health in Bloomington, Indiana.

She was born on March 3, 1951 in Byrdstown, Tennessee to Arvil and Jewel (Moes) Amonette.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Willie Ray Raines whom passed away in August 12, 2008, her sons Jimmy Raines and Lynn Raines and her brother Ray Amonette.

Carol is survived by William Raines of Paoli, Indiana, Hope Ridener of Taswell, Indiana, Trish Raines of English, Indiana, her granddaughter whom she helped raise as a child, Brianna White of Louisville, Kentucky, 12 Grandchildren, 17 great- grandchildren, her siblings, Harold (Dianne) Amonette of Paoli, Indiana, Charles Amonette of English, Indiana, Jan Schuley of Jasper, Indiana, Larry Amonette of English, Indiana, Patsy Amonette of Paoli, Indiana, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Cremation was chosen according to Carol's wishes.
