Carolyn D. Bennett, 76, of English, IN passed away at 12:50 P.M at Baptist Floyd on Friday June 19, 2020.

She was born on February 15, 1944 to Herbert and Thelma (Benham) Bennett in English, IN.

Carolyn enjoyed being outdoors, mowing, and being with family.  She loved watching her nieces and nephews at sporting events.  Carolyn was a 1962 graduate of English High School, and was employed at The Dollar General Store in English, and had worked at various jobs in the past.

She is preceded in death by her parents and great-great nephew Jon Marion Stroud.

Carolyn is survived by her sister, Kathryn Norris, her nephews; Doug (Laura) Tucker, Gordy Tucker, Tim (Neva) Stroud, her great-nephews; Brandon Stroud, Michael Stroud, Cole Tucker, her great-niece, Emily Stroud, great-great nieces; Malloree Stroud, Madilyn Stroud, Ava Randolph  along with several cousins and many friends from the English Community.

Funeral service will be Tuesday, June 23, 2020 at 1:00 pm at Denbo Funeral Home, English, IN, with Sis. Jill Katzeal to officiate. Burial will follow in Mifflin Cemetery, in Mifflin, IN.

Visitation will be Monday, June 22, 2020 from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Denbo Funeral Home.
