Carolyn Sue Knight, age 72, of New Albany, IN passed away on June 20, 2017 at Autumn Woods Nursing & Rehab Facility.
Carolyn was born on December 30, 1944 to Elmer Goffinet and Beatrice (Schlensker) Goffinet in Perry County, IN.
She was preceded in by her parents Elmer and Beatrice (Schlensker) Goffinet.
Surviving Carolyn is son Jamie (Annette) Knight of Milltown, Jamie's father James Knight, grandchildren Trevor Knight and Kara Sue Knight, siblings Elmer Goffinet of Tell City, Eulalia "Sissy" Flamion of Tell City, Faye King of Tell City, Wanda Mullins of St. Croix, and Donna Conklin of Corydon.
Carolyn was a loving mother, grandmother and sister to her family, she will be missed. She worked as a secretary of a doctor's office during her life.
Funeral service will be Friday, June 23, 2017 at 11:00 am at Denbo Funeral Home.
Visitation will be on Thursday, June 22 from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm and on Friday from 9:00 am until service time.
Rev. John Bye will be officiating the funeral service with burial to follow at Pleasant Ridge Cemetery in Mifflin, IN.
