Charles "Eric" Allen, age 43 of Louisville, Kentucky and formerly of English, Indiana. Died at 10:08 p.m. on Friday, November 8th at his residence after a lengthy illness.

He was born December 5, 1969 in Bloomington, Indiana to Laverne and Judith (Mason)Allen.

On October 3, 1998 he married Deanna (Durbin) Allen and she survives.

He was a 1988 graduate of Crawford County High School, Indiana University South East in New Albany, Indiana. He currently was perusing his nursing degree from Ivy Tech College.

Eric was an Army National Guard veteran and had previously worked at Allegra Printing and for Laverne Allen Contracting.

He is survived by:
His Wife: Deanna Allen; His Parents: Laverne and Judy Allen of English, Indiana; Two Brothers: Chris and wife Margaret Allen of Cincinnati, Ohio; Chad and wife Berni Allen of Bradenton, Florida;

One Sister: Patricia Allen of Corydon, Indiana

Funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 13th at Lincoln Hills United Methodist Church in English.

Burial will follow in Highfill Chapel Cemetery in Taswell, Indiana.

Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 12th at the Denbo Funeral Home in English.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Hospice or ALS (Lou Gehrig) Association.
