Charles Austin, age 82, of Tell City, IN passed away at the Veteran's Administration Hospital in Louisville, KY on January 3, 2015.
Charles was born to George and Stella (Redden) Austin on February 7, 1932 in New Albany, IN.
He was married to Violet (Eigel) Austin in September 1981.
His children are John (Dalee) Austin, Tell City, Jennifer (Robert) Korressell, Tell City, Terri Riley, Leopold and Stacey Austin, Tell City.
Brothers are Bob Redden and Stanley Austin both deceased.
Charles had 6 grandchildren.
He was a truck driver by trade.
Charles served in the Army and was a member of the VFW Post 6160 of English, IN.
Visitation will be Wednesday, January 7, 2015 at Denbo Funeral Home in English, IN from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm (fast time). Cremation was chosen.
