Charles A. Hensley, 60, passed away on April 8, 2020 at his home in Eckerty, IN.

He was born on September 30, 1959 to James Hensley and Clora Marie (Powell) Hensley in New Albany, IN.

Chuck was a very avid sportsman who loved to play golf, basketball, volleyball and video golf.  He loved to laugh and joke with everyone especially his grandbabies, he loved to tell them stories.

Chuck was preceded in death by his father James Hensley, his brother Donnie "Boonie" Hensley, infant sister Tonya Hensley and grandchild George Aaron.

He is survived by his companion of 20 years Deborah "Deb" Newlin, children; Chuck (Sara) Hensley, Jenney Ramos, Tonya (Matthew) Montgomery, step children Jimmie "Duane" (Caroline) Aaron and Jeremey Aaron,  grandchildren; Alex, Searra, Shayna, Saydea, Dallas, Nathen, Sam, Izabella, Zachary, Catherine, Sara, Elizabeth, James, Rachael and John-David, siblings Larry Hensley, Margo Tucker, Tammy "Hammer" Hensley and Fred Hensley.

A graveside service for the burial of ashes is on June 27, 2020 at the Taswell Cemetery at 1:00 pm with a Celebration of Life at the home of Charles Hensley's mother.

Mask should be worn at these events, per family request.
