Clisten Corbett Sr., 87, of Eckerty passed away at 1:40 A.M September 2, 2018 at Harrison Health Care surrounded by his family.

He was born on September 14, 1930 in French Lick, Indiana to Raymond and Hattie (Smith) Corbett.

Clisten was a United States Marine. He served as a Republican County Chairman, President of the Crawford County School Board, Member of the Crawford County Teacher Association, Member of the Mason Lodge Post #719 in Eckerty, Indiana, Member of the American Legion Post #147 in Jasper, Indiana, and Member of the Veteran War Affairs Post #673 in Jasper, Indiana.

Clisten is preceded in death by his wife, Wanita Mabel (Sherron) Corbett, his parents; Raymond and Hattie, his son, William Leo Corbett, and his brother Donald Corbett.

He is survived by his children; Larry (Rhonda) Corbett, Debra Armstrong (James), Clisten "Chop" (Sherri) Corbett Jr., Tara McCreey, 12 Grandchildren, 14 Great- Grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A funeral service will be conducted on Friday September 7, 2018 at 11:00 A.M at Denbo Funeral Home in English, Indiana, with Bro. Al Madden officiating.

Visitation will be held on Thursday September 6, 2018 from 4:00 until 8:00 P.M at Denbo Funeral Home, and again on Friday from 9:00 until the time of service.  There will be a Masonic Service at 7:00 pm, everyone is welcome to stay for the ceremony.
