Clyde William "Chub" Cummings, 90, of Eckerty, IN passed away at his home surrounded by his family on October 9, 2021.

He was born to Fred Cummings and Genevieve (King) Cummings on March 15, 1931 in Eckerty, IN.

Chub was a life long member of Local 181 Operators Union; he was a wonderful provider for his family.  He loves working with his mules and he loved his cats.  Chub was a hard worker and enjoyed working on cars.

He is preceded in death by his wife Norma Cummings, his parent Fred and Genevieve Cummings, his son Tracy Cummings, and his siblings; Nellie Huffman, Carl "Doc" Cummings, and Clarence "Dumpy" Cummings.

Chub is survived by his sons; Troy "Dude" (Penny) Cummings, and Tim (Christy) Cummings, his grandchildren; Cory Cummings, Sarah (Josh) Kilner, and Rachel (Kyle) Aders, great grandchildren; Clayton, Bryson Gabe and Grace, along with his sister Mary Ingle.

Funeral service will be on Wednesday, October 13, 2021 at 1:00 pm at Denbo Funeral Home in English, IN.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, October 12, 2021 from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm.  Also, on Wednesday from 9:00 am until service time at 1:00 pm.

Bro. Kenneth Morgan will officiate the funeral service with burial to follow at Eckerty Cemetery.
