Obituary

David Lee Eastridge, 67, of Huntingburg, IN on August 22, 2023, went to his Homecoming Celebration in Heaven.  Present at his homecoming was his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, his father Loval Eastridge, his mother Ona (Enlow) Eastridge, his sister Janet Pfaff, his brother Henry Eastridge, a nephew Scott Allen, his brothers-in-law; Farrel Pfaff and James Allen, great-great Shaunsae Brigham-Jones and great-great nephew Sutton Jones, and many other relatives too numerous to mention. N It was a glorious celebration!

David was born, September 12, 1955, he was the father of three children: Aaron Daniel Eastridge, Tayla Eastridge and Justice Eastridge.  He was a husband and lifelong friend and partner to Millie Eastridge.  He is survived by his loving sister, Sue Allen, a nephew, Shane Allen, and a niece Nikki Allen-Bigham.

David had different careers during his lifetime on Earth, but his greatest passion was fulfilling his God given destiny of preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ.  He was known by some as "preacher man" and he loved that calling on his life and the idea of following in his father's footsteps.

During the last few months of his life, David made his wishes known to family members, his greatest desire was a longing for his Eternal Celebration. He wanted to be cremated, with his remains placed on his parents' graves.  David did not want his family to grieve, but to rejoice with him that he was making Heaven his final home.

To fulfill Davids wishes there will be no funeral service, but an intimate family graveside service to lay his earthly remains to rest.  David wanted to leave one last message to anyone who would read this, to prepare to meet Jesus.  He can't wait to welcome each and every one of you at your Eternal Celebration!
