Delores Diane (Mason) Shelton, 65, of Taswell, IN passed away on December 17, 2020 at Baptist Health Floyd Hospital, New Albany, IN.

She was born to the late Lafayette Mason and Hazel (Smith) Mason on September 20, 1955 in Huntingburg, IN. She lived her life and raised her family in Taswell, IN.

Diane will be missed by the entire community as she worked for the County Health Dept. for 12 years and actively involved in the Indiana Vital Records Association, serving as past president and member of the executive board.  She was also a Pampered Chef director for 18 years. She was passionate about all that she did, particularly family, her daughters, granddaughters, and traveling. The beach was her paradise.  Diane was a member of the Fairview General Baptist Church.

She is preceded in death by her parents, a grandson Rilan Barnes, and a sister Marie Harris.

Diane is survived by her husband of 47 years, Leon Shelton, daughters; Lisa Shelton and Melissa (Ben) Barnes, granddaughters; Sadie, Elyssa, Shayla, Adelyn, her sister Phyllis McClure, nieces, nephews, and so many more that loved her like family.

Funeral Service will be Monday, December 21, 2020 at Fairview General Baptist Church in Taswell, IN at 11:00 am. Masks are required!

Visitation will be Sunday, December 20, from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Fairview General Baptist Church in Taswell, IN. Masked are required!
