On January 3, 2026, Dennis M. Benskin, 73, left this earth to walk the forests of heaven with Jesus. His family saw him off with love in their hearts and tears in their eyes.

Dennis was raised in Clinton, Indiana and lived several places in Indiana. For the last 16 years, he has resided in Marengo with his wife on their farm.

He spent his life in the tree business, from being a tree trimmer to running a mower to being an equipment inspector. He had been a treasured employee of Townsend Tree Service for over 30 years.

Dennis was a member of the Community Worship Chapel in Marengo, Indiana where he served as a deacon and as the best coffee maker.

He will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Jennifer, his mother, Barbara and siblings Annette Cottrell, Randy Benskin, and Dusty Benskin.

Dennis treasured his children, Joy (Aaron) Baker, Chris (Cyndi) Benskin, Matt (Abby) Benskin, Kenny (Cathy) Benskin, Denny (Krystal) Benskin, stepdaughter, Cate (Seth) Mendenhall, 16 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life will be held at Community Worship Chapel, 4925 State Road 64 Marengo, Indiana, on January 17, 2026, from 1:00 P.M until 4:00 P.M and a meal will be served in honor of Dennis.
