Dennis Ray Smith, 77, of English passed away on Friday August 7, 2020 at his residence.

He was born on December 18, 1942 in Louisville, Kentucky to Clifford and Loraine (Lutz) Smith.

Dennis is a United States Army Veteran. He worked as a Carpenter by trade and built his own home. Dennis attended the Sulphur Pentecostal Church in Sulphur, Indiana. He was a member of the Carpenter Local Union # 175 in Louisville, Kentucky. He married Sandra (Hodges) Smith on December 27, 1963. Dennis loved the water, skiing, and boating. He had a love for Car Shows, Corvettes, Chevelles, and fast cars.

He is preceded in death by his father, Clifford Smith.

Dennis is survived by his loving wife of 56 year, Sandra Smith, his mother Loraine Smith, and his sister, Judy Wellman.

A funeral service will be held on Monday August 10, 2020 at 11:00 A.M at Denbo Funeral Home in English, Indiana. Burial will follow in El Bethel Cemetery.

Friends may visit on Sunday August 9, 2020 from 4:00 until 8:00 P.M at Denbo Funeral Home in English, Indiana.
