Donald Ray Tucker, 85, of Taswell, IN passed away at Paoli Health and Living on Monday, April 21, 2025.

He was born on June 12, 1939, in Taswell, IN to Ray and Lois Tucker. He was married to Daisy Archibald.

Donald had previously worked for Mulzer Crush Stone, but his real enjoyment came working as a farmer spending many hours planting and harvesting his crops. He could be found most of the day working the fields on his farm.

Donald is preceded in death by his wife, Daisy, a son, Dennis and his parents, Ray and Lois Tucker. His brothers, Karl and C.J. Tucker, sisters, Maxine Eddleman, Mary Smith, Maire England and Shirley Laswell.

Donald is survived by his children, Donna (Bob) Smith, Darrell Tucker, Doretta Tucker, Debby Jo (Gene) Sturgeon, grandchildren, Dawn Harris, Dan Tucker, Dustin Smith, Abe Smith, Des Barker, Calley Jo Sturgeon, Izaya Sturgeon and 13 great-grandchildren. Donald is also survived by a brother, Rex Tucker.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 26, 2025, at 11:00 A.M. at Denbo Funeral Home with Bro. Al Madden to Officiate. Burial will follow at the Taswell Cemetery.

Friends may visit on Friday, April 25, 2025, from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at Denbo Funeral Home in English, Indiana and again on Saturday morning from 9:00 A.M. until time of funeral.
