Donna M. (Sturgill) Combs, age 85, of Eckerty, IN passed away on July 20, 2017 at IU Bloomington in Bloomington, IN.
Donna was born to Arthur Sturgill and Maxline (Sandlin) Sturgill on December 16, 1931 in Whitesburg, KY.
Preceding Donna in death are her parents, husband of 50 years Rev. Joe Combs, grandson Jamie Sturgill, siblings Vincent Sturgill, Willie Sturgill, Orville Sturgill, Steve Sturgill, Donald Sturgill, Kenny Sturgill, Margaret Sloan, Barbara Bowman and Catherine Hall.
Surviving Donna are her children Phyllis (Clifford) Cook, David (Paula) Combs, 4 grandchildren Tess Sturgill, Cynthia Cook, Ron (Kelly) Combs, Matt (Connye) Combs, 16 great grandchildren and 7 great great grandchildren, siblings Dan Sturgill, Joe Sturgill, Millie Hall and Mary Jane Clark.
Donna worked at RCA and retire from GE. She loved to dig ginseng, her cats and dogs, gardening and she loved to make quilts.
Funeral service will be Saturday, July 22 at 12:00 noon, with visitation starting at 10:00 am on Saturday at Denbo Funeral Home in English, IN.
Burial will follow at Community Chapel Cemetery, Eckerty, IN.
