Donnie Lee Key, 82, of Marengo, Indiana passed away on Tuesday September 3, 2019 at Kindred Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky.

He was born on September 27, 1936 to Knoefel Key and Alice (Bowman) Key in Marengo, IN.

Donnie is preceded in death by his wife Ida Marie Hillenbrand-Key, his parents and a sister-in-law Billie Key.

He is survived by his children; Richard (Brenda) Key, David (Tina) Key, stepson James (Brenda) Hillenbrand, grandchildren; Amber Key, Austin Key, Brianna Key, Brooke (Daniel) Weickel and Matthew Hillenbrand, great grandchild Logan Weickel and his brother Arthur Eugene Key.

Donnie retired from G.E.  General Electric Appliance Park and he currently worked at Kroger's in Louisville, KY.  He was a member of the Church of Christ.

A funeral service will be held on Sunday September 8, 2019  at 1:00 P.M at Dillman - Green Funeral Home in Marengo with Bro. Paul Walerczak with burial to follow at Valeene Christian Church Cemetery.

Visitation will be held on Saturday September 7, 2019 at Dillman - Green Funeral Home from 3:00 until 7:00 P.M and again on Sunday from 11:00 A.M until the time of service.
