Doris Lee Mason, 77, of Taswell, Indiana passed away Friday November 11, 2016 at IU Health Paoli, Indiana.
She was born January 22, 1939 in Paoli, Indiana to Myrtle (Jenkins) Poe.
Doris owned and operated Mason's Grocery Store in Taswell, Indiana for 12 years and retired from Walmart. She was a 50 year member of The Eastern Star Post of Birdseye, IN.
She was preceded in death by her husband Iris Mason, parents Kenneth and Myrtle (Jenkins) Poe, two grandsons Chris Adams and Derrick Adams, daughter Barbara Mason and brother Donald Poe.
Doris is survived by her daughter Rhonda Adams (Lennie), grandchild Craig Adams (Julie) and 5 great- grandchildren, Noah, Kayla, Zackary, Abigail, and Isaac Adams.
Funeral services will be conducted Monday November 14, 2016 at 1:00 pm at Denbo Funeral Home with visitation from 10:00 am till time of service.
Visitation will be held on Sunday 4:00 till 8:00 pm on Sunday November 13, 2016 at Denbo Funeral Home in English, Indiana.
Burial will follow at Taswell Cemetery in Taswell, Indiana.
