Dorothy G. Laswell, age 72, of English, IN passed away on August 6, 2023, at Memorial Hospital in Jasper, IN.

She was born on February 8, 1952, to Roy W. Aders and Iva (Geer) Aders in Bristow, IN.

Dorothy loved morel mushrooms, she loved to hunt them, eat them, and decorate with them.  Her daughters and grandchildren where her life, to cook for them and her husband Wayne.  She worked as a cook for 18 years.

She is preceded in death by her parents.

Dorothy is survived and will be greatly missed by husband of 56 years Wayne Laswell, her loving daughters; Sarah Cox, Penny Laswell and Jody Perkins (Shawn), her grandchildren; Leigha (Cody) Willis, Santanna Ross (Andrew), Tyler Lewis, Kyle Lewis, Hayley Cox and Emiley Cox, Ryan Perkins, Kymberlee Perkins, her great-grandchildren; Aidan Willis, Waylon Ross, Awbrey Lewis, Jaylen Lewis, Kendall, Earl Scott and Jasper Kingston and her siblings; Edward Vanhoosier and Mildred Lechner.

Funeral service will be held on Thursday, August 10, 2023, at 1:00 pm at Denbo Funeral Home in English, IN.

Visitation will be on Thursday, August 10, 2023, from 10:00am until service time of 1:00 pm.
