Edna L. Johnson, 96, of English, Indiana passed away on Thursday October 18, 2018 in Ferdinand, Indiana.
She was born on December 9, 1921 in Eckerty, Indiana to Jesse and Elsie Mae Polen. She attended Grantsburg Community Church. Edna worked at Bowles English Laundry Mat, Farbest Foods in Huntingburg, Indiana for over 14 year, Work Force One, and also the Library.
Edna was preceded in death by her parents Jesse and Elsie, her husbands; Edward Seibert and Forest "Cleon" Johnson, one son, Wendell Seibert, her grandchildren; Patti Lynn Gilliland, Sara Dunwoody, Jace Adkins, Jeremy Lane and Dean Strange, her siblings; Nellie Fern Baker, Dallas Polen, Densil Polen, Lizzie Kellems and Albert Polen and, daughter-in-law Patricia Seibert, son-in-law's Andrew Lane, Bill Sherron and Kenneth Wilson.
She is survived by her children Patricia Lane, Shirley (Frankie) Gilliland, Sharon Wilson, Melvin Ray Seibert, Joyce Ann Sherron, Rex Johnson, Rita (John) Smith and 102 Grandchildren, Great- Grandchildren, and Great- Great Grandchildren, her siblings James Roberson, and Robert (Sandy) Roberson.
A funeral service will be held on Monday October 22, 2018 at 11:00 A.M at Denbo Funeral Home in English, Indiana. Burial will follow at Mathers Chapel.
Visitation will be held on Sunday October 21, 2018 from 4:00 until 8:00 P.M and again on Monday from 9:00 A.M until the time of service.
