Edward Carrell Tucker, age 89, of Leavenworth, IN passed away on Monday, December 19, 2016 in Louisville, Ky.
He was born in Sulphur Indiana to the late Clarence Albert and Gertrude (Carrell) Tucker on February 20, 1927.
Edward owned and operated the Ole Country Store for 21 years and was retired from Mulzer Crushed Stone and he also was a farmer. He was a WWII Veteran and was a member of the Old union Christian Church in Sulphur.
He was preceded in death by a son Steve Edward Tucker, two sisters Joyce Rose Keeling and Naomi Ruth Brown and a brother Jesses Eldon Tucker.
Edward is survived by his wife of 67 years Treva Maye (Eaton) Tucker, son Curtis "Al" Tucker (Patty) of Lanesville, a daughter Tina Tucker Bowman (Roger) of Leavenworth, two brothers Clarence "Bud" Tucker and Albert "Gene" Tucker, and seven grandchildren Chad Tucker, Robby Tucker, Byron Bowman, Brandon Bowman, Brittany Williams, Hank Tucker and Todd Tucker, along with 11n great grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.
Funeral service will be at Old Union Church in Sulphur at 11:00 am on Friday, December 23.
Visitation will be Thursday, December 22 from 4:00 until 8:00 pm at Denbo Funeral Home in English, IN.
Bro. Brian Martin will be officiating the funeral service with burial to follow at Old Union Cemetery in Sulphur.
