Edward "Eddie" H. Young, age 72, passed away on August 23, 2016 at Harrison County Hospital in Corydon, IN.
Eddie was born on June 28, 1944 to the late Charles Hayes Young and Sophie (Szarley) Young in Leavenworth, IN.
Surviving Eddie are daughters Lani (Keith McIntosh) Farler and Janis (Paul) Bailey, companion Carol Singleton and grandchildren Cody Bary, Warren Bailey, Ryan Farler, Devon Farler and Sophie Bailey.
Eddie was retired from the maintenance department of the Town of Leavenworth Water. He was also a veteran of the Army National Guard. Eddie was a member of the Posey Masonic Lodge #188, the Corydon Masonic Lodge #156, and the New Albany Masonic Lodge #5.
A Memorial Service is planned for September 3, 2016 at 5:00 pm at the Mt. Hope Church, Battletown, Ky. All are invited to attend.
