Erma Lucille Scott, age 90, of Grantsburg passed away on December 3, 2016 at Paoli Health and Living in Paoli, IN.
Erma was born to the later Everett and Dimple (McCutcheon) Mills on August 18, 1926 in Crawford County, IN.
She married the late Paul Louis Scott on August 4, 1945.
Besides husband Paul, parents Everett and Dimple, she was preceded in death by son Richard Scott, brothers Sam Mills and David Mills, sister Hilda Tilley, a grandson Christopher Hilgert and son-in-law Daniel Rider.
She is survived by a daughter Barbara (Daniel) Rider, sisters Norma Woolems and Anna Garcia, brother Paul Mills, a daughter-in-law Diana Scott, and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren along with many nieces and nephews.
Erma retired from Crawford County High School where she was head cook. She was also a wonderful mother, mother-in-law, grandmother and sister. She will be missed by many.
She was a member of the English Senior Citizens Club, and the Grantsburg Community Church.
Funeral will be Tuesday, December 6 at 1:00 pm at Denbo Funeral Home in English, IN.
Visitation will be Monday, December 5 from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm and on Tuesday from 10:00 am until service time at 1:00 pm.
Burial to follow at Union Chapel Cemetery in Grantsburg, IN.
