E. Gene Zehr, 79, of Taswell, passed away on September 3, 2014.
He was born on February 27, 1935 to Frank and Irma (Kirkoff) Zehr in Crawford County, IN.
Gene married Luella (Lane) Zehr on September 3, 1955.
They had one son:
Rick Zehr of Williamsport, IN.

Wilbur Zehr of Taswell, IN.
Elvin Zehr of Paoli, IN.
Ed Zehr of Spencer, IN.
Sisters:
Wanda Smith of English, IN.
Barbara Spears of Indianapolis, IN.
Wilma Morrison, Paoli, IN.
2 Grandsons and 4 Grandchildren.

Brothers: Melvin Zehr, Jake Zehr.

Gene was Self Employed and a Farmer.
He attended Springs Valley Wesleyan Church, French Lick.
Funeral Service will be Saturday, September 6, at 2:00 pm with visitation starting at 12:00 pm for public.
Burial will follow at Hindostan Falls in Shoals, IN.
