Ethel Marie (Mitchell) Merry, 72 of English, IN passed away on June 10, 2021 at Todd-Dickey Nursing Home.

She was born to Emery Mitchell and Myrtle (Atkins) Mitchell on May 29, 1949 in Eckerty, IN.

Ethel loved spending time with her grandchildren, and would go out of her way to help someone in need.  She enjoyed sewing, gardening and canning and she had a love for the Native American Indian Culture.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 19 years John Wm. Merry, and her brothers Stanley and Emmett Mitchell.

Ethel is survived by her children; Ed (Rose) Wright and Dawn (Kevin) Adams, grandchildren; Adrian Adams, Daniella Adams, Jayda Adams and KJ Adams, great grandchildren Delaney and Heath Adams, and her siblings Goldie Faulkner and Larry Mitchell, along with several nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be on Saturday, June 12, 2021 at 1:00 pm at Denbo Funeral Home in English, IN.

Visitation will on Saturday, June 12 from 10:00 am until service time at 1:00 pm.

Officiating the funeral service will be Bro. Joey Pyle with burial to follow at Bethany Union Cemetery in Eckerty, IN.
