Freddie "Fred" R. Smith, age 64, died at his home on July 30,2014.
He was born on September 3, 1949 in Caneyville, KY to Martin Smith and Thelman Mryl (Tarrence) Smith.
He was married to Paula (Mott) Smith, who is deceased.

Tonya Smith of New Salisbury, IN
Step-children:
Tina Parr of Alton, IN
Sue Goldman of Fredonia, IN
Marty Smith of Curby, IN
Brothers:
Ricky Smith of Georgetown, IN
Jeff Smith of Pekin, IN
Fred had 10 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, 9 step-children and
12 step great grandchildren.
Proceeded in death where 1 grandson, 1 granddaughter, 2 sisters and 2 brothers.
Fred was retired and he worked as a mechanic for Zink & Sons Wrecker Service in New Albany, IN. He also worked at Tyson Foods in Corydon, IN.
Cremation was chosen and a Memorial Service will be at a later date.
Dillman-Green Funeral Home in Marengo, IN provided the arrangements.
