Garry W. Smith, age 70, of Eckerty, IN passed away on September 7, 2016 at the home of his daughter Angie, surrounded by his loving family in Branchville, IN.
Garry was born on December 8, 1945 in West Fork, IN to the late Raymond F. Smith and Amzel Glee (Laswell) Smith.
He is survived by two daughters Angie (Frankie) Taylor and Stacey Smith (Jonna' Risch), two grandchildren Phillip Taylor and Elle Taylor, siblings Glenn Smith, Wade Smith, Doyle Smith and Marcella Webster and a special person in his life Helen Tucker.
Preceding Garry in death along with his parents are siblings Gail Sturgeon, Coy Smith, Chet Smith and 3 sets of twins which passed in infancy, along with special people in his life, Donna Riddle and Pam Laswell.
Garry retired from GE Appliance in Tell City, IN after 35 years. He was also an avid sportsman, he loved fishing, hunting and horseshoes and cornhole.
Funeral Service will be Saturday, Sept. 10, 2016 at 11:00 am with visitation from 9:00 am at Denbo Funeral Home, English, IN.
Visitation will be Friday, Sept. 9, 2016 from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm at the Denbo Funeral Home.
Burial will follow at Pleasant Ridge Cemetery, Mifflin, IN.
