He was born to Richard and Nova (Wright) Speedy.
On January 29, 1966 he married Margie L. (Deel) Speedy in Wickliffe, IN and she survives.
He was a machinist for Dubois Machine Copany in Jasper for the last 20 years. He was a U.S. Army Veteran serving from 1966 to 1972.
Gary enjoyed gardening and spending time with his family, friends and grandchildren.

Funeral Services:
Funeral Services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 4th at Denbo Funeral Home in English, IN. Burial will follow in Potter's Cemetery in Eckerty, IN.
Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 3 at Denbo Funeral Home in English and from 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday until the time of service.
