George Thomas "Tom" Ball, 81, of Eckerty, IN passed away at his home on Tuesday February 17, 2026, surrounded by his loved ones.

He was born on November 13, 1944, in Doolittle Mill, Indiana to Elbert and Olive Elizabeth (Huff) Ball. He married Betty (Speedy).

Tom loved the simple things in life. He enjoyed fishing, mowing yards, and going mushroom hunting. He liked being outdoors and spending time in nature. Tom liked to tinker with small engines and was happiest when he was fixing or working on something. He was a Past Master of Masonic Lodge 719 in Eckerty, and a Past Officer of the Order of the Eastern Star. Tom was loved by his family and friends and will be deeply missed.

He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife Betty Ball, his grandson, Brentley Ball, his siblings, Mary Shrout, Othella Enlow, Barbara Hackman, Katheyne Ball, John Ball, Roger Ball, Ricky Ball, and James Ball.

Tom is survived by his children, Thomas (Trisha) Ball, April Ball Andry, grandchildren, Ashley Ball, Bradley Ball, 6 great- grandchildren, siblings, Joan Crecelius, Lois Hensley, Gladys Ridden, Donna Ball, Delbert Ball, and several nieces and nephews.

A Funeral Service will be held on Friday February 20, 2026, at 11:00 A.M EST at Denbo Funeral Home in English, Indiana with Bro. Albert Madden to officiate. Burial will follow in Eckerty Cemetery.

Friends may visit on Thursday February 19, 2026, from 3:00 until 7:00 P.M EST at Denbo Funeral Home in English, Indiana, with a Masonic service being held at 6:00 P.M. The Masonic service will be led by Joe Jones.
