Jack Lee Winings, 86, of Eckerty, passed away on Tuesday, January 9, 2018 in Bloomington, Indiana.
He was born on February 19, 1931 in Indianapolis, Indiana to the late Emory Orville and Hazel (Mayhall) Winings.
Jack married Bobbie Jean (Grimes) Winings on May 3, 1958 and she survives. He was a member of the Highfill Chapel Church in Taswell. Jack served his country honorably in the Korean War. He was a member of the American Legion in St. Anthony, and the VFW in Greenwood. He loved his family very much, and will be dearly missed.
Jack was preceded in death by his parents, his son John Winings, his grandson Rocky Bartlett, and his siblings Phyllis Ann Becker, and Tom Winings.
He is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Bobbie Jean Winings, his children David Winings (Rita), Brenda Conley, Cindy Kinnarney (Kevin), Matthew Winings, his grandchildren; Nathan Winings, Travis Winings, Stephen Conley III, Amy Conley, Stephanie Griffin, David Conley (Ashley), Penny Conley, Tonya Conley, Amanda Conley, Juanita Conley, Stephen Conley Jr., Isaiah Winings, Steven Golden, Brittany Winings, Isaac Winings, Emily, Madeline, and Ethan Kinnarney, Daryan Winings and 10 great - grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be conducted on Saturday, January 13, 2018 at 2:00 P.M at Highfill Chapel in Taswell, officiated by Pastor Mark Crabtree. Burial with military rights will follow in the church cemetery.
Visitation will begin at 12:00 noon Saturday, January 13, 2018 at Highfill Chapel and continue until the time of the service.
