Jerry Joseph LaGrange, 89, of Tell City, Indiana passed away on Saturday, March 15, 2025, at 12:35 A.M. at the Oakwood Health Facility in Tell City, Indiana.

He was born on July 1, 1935, in St. Croix, Indiana to the late Levi and Florence (Doogs) LaGrange.

Jerry graduated from Oil Township High School. He served in the US Army from 1958 until 1960. Jerry was stationed in Germany and was a radio operator for the Army, he also was a member of the American Legion Post #213.

Jerry retired from General Electric in Louisville in 1991. He spent most of his life living in Louisville with his wife Janet, moving to St. Croix in 2004.

Jerry was a member of the Holy Cross Catholic Church in St. Croix, IN.

Jerry enjoyed following IU Basketball, the St. Louis Cardinals and the Green Bay Packers. He also enjoyed hunting and fishing and being outdoors.

Jerry is preceded in death by his wife Janet. He is also preceded in death by a sister, Etta Rose LaGrange, two brothers, Russell and Carroll LaGrange.

Jerry is survived by a son, Brad LaGrange. Brothers, Kenny LaGrange, Bobby LaGrange and Ovalee LaGrange. Two sisters, Darlene Hubert and Shirley Ann Feldpausch.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 22, 2025, from 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM (Central Time) at the Holy Cross Catholic Church in St. Croix, Indiana.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12:00 PM at the church with burial to follow in the Holy Cross Church cemetery.
