Jessica Newsom–Gabbard, 45 of English, IN passed away on Friday, September 23, 2022, at University of Louisville Hospital.

Jessica was born on March 10, 1978 in Long Beach, California to Roy and Shelly (Gipe) Newsom.

Jessica is survived by her husband, Dale Gabbard of 33 years. A daughter, Lynn Marie Gabbard and a son, James Gabbard both of English, IN. Jessica is also survived by her mother Shelly Sparks.

Jessica worked at the Crawford County High School as an aid and substitute teacher for 2 years. She also was a Girl's Scout leader.

Jessica loved her family and was a loving person to many, who she was willing to do anything for friends and family. She loved animals and spending time fishing.

Cremation was chosen for Jessica per her request.
