Joan Gale (Page) Smith, age 73, of Leavenworth, IN passed away on October 2, 2017 at Norton's Healthcare Pavilion in Louisville, KY.
Joan was born on August 2, 1944 to the late Lawrence Page and the late Pauline (Baize) Page in Hammond, Indiana .
She worked construction as a Union Millwright in Louisville, Ky. She loved horseback riding. She attended Holy Mount Church in Leavenworth, IN. Joan always loved and honored our veterans of our country. Joan had a great love for her dogs and horses.
Preceding Joan in death besides her parents, are her sister Sharon Faith and infant brother.
Surviving Joan are nieces and nephews, Madea Erickson, Tim Faith, Kenny Faith, Jerry Lee Faith and Larry Faith, brother-in-law Jerry Thomas Faith, great nieces and nephews Nisa Faith, John Faith Jr., Alyssa Erickson, Lauren Erickson, Adam Faith, great-great nieces Aiden, Taylor, Brynnley and John III.
Cremation was chosen. The family will be having a private Celebration of Life service.
