Joyce Marcille Hammond, age 77, of Taswell, IN passed away on Monday, May 27, 2019 at Baptist Health Floyd in New Albany, IN.

Joyce was born on December 21, 1941 to Bernie Hollen and Margaret Alice (Goodson) Mielke in Taswell, IN.

She was a member of the Christian faith and was a bird lover.  She loved when visitors would bring her sweets.

Joyce was preceded in death by her husband Ronald Gordon Hammond, daughter Tina Louise Hammond, and siblings; Bonnie McGee, Billy Hollen, Fern Scifers, Chester Hollen, and Carolyn Sue Hollen.

She is survived by her children; Bonnie McLain, Sherry (Kerry) Hubbard, and Elizabeth Herron (friend Greg), her grandchildren; Micheal (Shannon) Faulkenburg, Brittney (Adam) Luckett, Erin Bishop and Hayden (Rhianna Arthur) Herron, a sister Claris "Tab" Haley, her great-grandchildren; Katelyn Luckett, Jackson Luckett and a host of nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held Saturday, June 1, 2019 at 11:00 am at Denbo Funeral Home in English, IN. with Bro. John Bye officiating. Burial will follow in Taswell Cemetery in Taswell, IN.

Visitation will be held Friday, May 31, 2019 from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm and also on Saturday from 9:00 am until service time.
