Julian Walter Sacksteder, age 81, of Corydon passed away on October12, 2017 at his home.
Julian was born on November 18, 1935 to the late Curran Sacksteder and the late Mabel (Doolittle) Roll in Louisville, KY.
Surviving Julian are daughters Julie Price and Sandra Atchley, grandchildren Sarah (Jeremy) Lomax, Ryan (Traci) Price, Tara Jones, Jessica (Joseph) Maggard, and Julie Atchley, great grandchildren Ashlyn Lomax, Charlotte Price and Joelle Maggard.
Julian was an US Air Force Veteran, he loved wildlife photography, which won him a 1st place ribbon in the Kentucky State Fair. He is a retired member of Union Pipefitters Local 502 of Louisville, Ky. He loved his daughters and grandchildren very much, he will be greatly missed.
Funeral service will be Monday, October 16, 2017 at 11:00 am at Dillman-Green Funeral Home.
Visitation will be Sunday, October 15 from 4:00 pm till 8:00 pm and on Monday, October 16 from 9:00 am until service time.
Officiating the service will be the Rev. John Bye with burial to follow at East Cemetery in Leavenworth, IN.
