Kenneth Dean Sturgeon, 55, of Eckerty passed away on Friday March 6, 2020.

He was born on November 7, 1964 in Huntingburg, Indiana to the late Jerry and Addie (Tudy) Sturgeon.

Kenny was a board member of The Eckerty House of Prayer. He was a member of the Local 669 Sprinkler Fitters, and a Board Member of the Crawford County Soil and Water Conservation District. Kenny was a first responder for the English Volunteer Fire Department for over 15 years. He loved riding his Harley, riding four- wheelers, working on trucks/cars, and operating his back hoe. He was one of the hardest working men ever known. Most of all Kenny loved his children and his family.

He is preceded in death by his parents; Jerry and Addie (Tudy) Sturgeon.

Kenny is survived by his children; Casey Sturgeon, Meagan Sturgeon, Leah Sturgeon, Lance Sturgeon, Madelyn Sturgeon, his grandchild, Ayven Sturgeon, his siblings; Gene (Debbie Jo) Sturgeon, Betty (Bob) Flamion, Bev (Keith) Hubert, Brian (Diane) Sturgeon, Stu (Kelly) Sturgeon, and many family members.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday March 12, 2020 at 11:00 A.M EST. (fast time) at The Eckerty House of Prayer with Pastor Bob Flamion to officiate. Burial will follow at the Eckerty, Cemetery.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday March 11, 2020 from 2:00 P.M until 8:00 P.M EST (fast time) at The Eckerty House of Prayer.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to The Eckerty House of Prayer Church in Kenny's memory.
