Lee Ellan Wright, 83, of Tell City, Indiana passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 18, 2026, at Oakwood Health Campus in Tell City, Indiana.

She was born on October 19, 1942, in Waxahachie, Texas to Leo and Imall (Mosley) Butler. Lee was a woman of Christian Faith who cherished the simple joys of life. She loved cooking for her family and friends. She enjoyed the art of quilting and was truly talented in her craft. Her beautiful work was even recognized by having some of her quilts featured in a museum. Lee enjoyed traveling and seeing the beauty of God’s creation.

She is preceded in death by her parents, grandson, Nathan Wright, son-in-law, Peter Schultzius, and a sister, Judith Mays.

Lee is survived by her husband of 65 years, Tony Wright, a daughter, Lora Schutzius and a son, Troy (Mary) Wright. She is also survived by her grandchildren, John (Sandra) Schutzius, Aryn (Patrick) Dauby, and one great grandchild, Lorraine Dauby.

A graveside service will be held at 1:00 P.M EST on Wednesday, October 21, 2026, with Bro. Barry Groh to officiate in the Taswell Cemetery in Taswell, Indiana.
