Lester L. Allen, age 83, of Leavenworth, IN passed away on February 8, 2018 at Clark Memorial Hospital in Jeffersonville, IN.
Lester was born on March 19, 1934 to Herschel and Lorena (Hedden) Allen in Leavenworth, IN.
Preceding Lester in death are his parents, siblings Donald Lee Allen, Robert Lavern Allen, Colleen Forbes and great granddaughter Mackenzie Allen.
Surviving Lester are his wife of 53 years Clara Allen, children David (Myra) Allen, Kathy (Rob) Pierson, and Linda (Errol) Toney, grandchildren Heather (Josh) Phillips, Travis Allen, Jason Pierson, Jenny Pierson, Amanda Toney, Kayla (Jarret) Denzinger and Allen Toney, great grandchildren Hannah Allen, Riley Pierson, Ethan Phillips, Jaxon Toney and Addison Thompson and brothers Herschel Allen Jr. and Joe Allen.
Lester was a veteran of U.S. Army and a member of the Leavenworth Masonic Lodge Post 475.
Funeral service will be Monday, February 12, 2018 at 12 noon at Denbo Funeral Home, English, IN.
Visitation will be Sunday, February 11 from 3:00 pm until 8:00 pm and on Monday from 10:00 am until service time.
Officiating the funeral service will be Bro. Doug Phillips.
