Leta Belle Stroud, age 84, of Marengo, IN passed away at Norton's Brownsboro Hospital in Louisville, KY on June 25, 2016.
She was born to the late Gus Grunden and the late May (Miller) Crecelius on March 10, 1932 in Marengo, IN.
Leta is survived by daughter Robin (Michael) Patsfall of Woodbridge, VA and son Lance Stroud of Marengo, IN. Also surviving are 3 grandchildren Ryan Hilt, Nathaniel Patsfall and Amanda Voris and 3 great grandchildren Alexander Hilt, and Kevin Hilt. Also a brother Loren Grunden of Marengo, IN.
Preceding Leta in death along with her parents are her husband Charles R. Stroud which passed in 2004, along with siblings Nolan Gruden, Knoefel Grunden, Robert Grunden and June Kemp.
Leta was a homemaker and also worked at Eli Lily and retired from Indiana Bell where she was a telephone operator.
Visitation will be Monday, June 27, 2016 at Denbo Funeral Home in English, IN from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm.
Funeral Service will be Tuesday, June 28, 2016 at 11:00 am at Denbo Funeral Home with visitation beginning at 10:00 am before service.
Burial will follow at Mathers Chapel Cemetery in English, IN.
