Linda Faye Gabbard Smith, age 73, of English, IN, passed away at her home on November 8, 2022 surrounded by her family.

She was born August 14, 1949 to Elige Gabbard and Opal (Bullington) Gabbard in New Albany, IN.

Linda enjoyed her family, her grandchildren, reading, history and politics.

Linda is preceded in death by her grandparents Daniel and Nana Gabbard, Albert and Maudie Bullington, her parents Elige and Opal (Bullington) Gabbard, and her siblings; Geneva Mae Roberts, Larry Gabbard, Patsy Wofford, Gerald Gabbard and Victor Joe Gabbard.

Surviving Linda are her daughters; Billie (Anita) Smith and Barbara (Robert Wood) Miller, grandchildren Christopher and Samantha Miller, and her younger identical twin sister Brenda (Tony) Kay Byrne.  Linda always said that she had to pull Brenda out by the leg.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.  In lieu of flowers donation may be made to Bloom-Riddle Cemetery at the First Saving Bank in Marengo, IN.
