LOIS V. BLEVINS-96 Marengo passed away April 02, 2015 at Floyd Memorial hospital in New Albany. She was born on May 21st 1918 the daughter of John and Ida Vernon in Crawford County IN. She Married Richard Blevins Feb. 12th 1940 and he proceeded her in Death.

She was a member of the Hillview Christian Church, a member of the order of the Eastern Star. Former Crawford County Auditor of 11 yrs., a former employee of the Crawford County School Corporation. She was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution. She served on the board of directors of Blue River services. She was presented with numerous humanitarian awards due to her Generosity and kindness to various organizations. She taught piano for nearly four decades and loved to Crochet and be with her family.
She is survived by her loving home family Nephew Jim (Beth & Payton) Jones and Nephew Paul Forbes, 1 niece Ruth Janice Terry, 6 Great nieces and nephews Helen Byrn, Bord Byrn JR.,Lois Byrn, Harry Byrn, Roy Byrn and Renee Brown. And Several Great-Great and Great-Great-Great nieces and nephews.
She was proceeded in Death by her Husband, Parents two brothers Howard and Floyd and Sister and Brother in Law Pauline and Harry Wood.
Visitation will be Monday April 6th from 1-8pm at Denbo Funeral Home in English IN. Funeral will be at 1 pm Tuesday at Hillview Christian Church with the Rev. Bob Kelly officiating Burial will be at the Sloan Cemetery in English IN.
