Lois O. Roberts, age 92, passed away on January 27, 2015 at her home in English, IN. She was a member Lincoln Hills United Methodist Church and a Charter Member of VFW Post 6160 Auxiliary of English, IN. She retired from the Crawford Co. Welfare Office after 36 years of service. She enjoyed crochet, ceramics, cooking, collecting antiques and being with family and friends.
Lois leaves to cherish her memory, her husband of 56 years, L.E. (Bob) Roberts, her daughter Judith A. King (Eugene) of Columbus, IN, one grandson Brian Eugene King (Brittany) and one granddaughter, Kinzey King all of Columbus. Also two nieces Debra Rogers (Wallace) and Gwen Flowers (Dale) and many other nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents Claude and Maureen (Jones) Brown, her first husband William Edward Goins who was killed in World War II and her brother Leslie O. Brown.
She requested in lieu of flowers, contributions to be made to the United Methodist Memorial Fund P.O. Box 594, English, IN 47118. A celebration of life will be held February 7, 2015 at 2:00 pm at the Lincoln Hills United Methodist Church located on State Road 64, west of English.
