Lola Ester (Allen) Deich, 93 of Eckerty, IN, passed away on Wednesday, May 13, 2026, at The Timbers in Jasper, IN with family by her side. She was born on January 9, 1933, in Taswell, Indiana to the late Torrence and Elma Faye (Alstott) Allen.

Lola is proceeded in death by her Husband of 70 years, LeRoy Deich. Two sons, Robert Wayne Deich and Roger Lee Deich. Her parents and siblings: Oral Allen, Robert Allen, Betty Jean Allen, Howard Allen, Frederick Allen, Roberta Morgan, Eugene Allen, Ermel Allen, Lila Deich, and Bill Allen.

Lola was a member of the Homemaker's Club. She enjoyed working in her garden and raising beautiful roses. Lola also loved spending time with her family, was a loving mother and grandmother. She took the role of motherhood very seriously and excelled in it.

Lola is survived by her two daughters, Deborah Sollman and Annette Gilliland. Grandchildren, April Blackwood, Kevin Gilliland, Alex Gilliland, Shawn Deich, Dustin Deich, Jamie Deich and Tori Deich. She is also survived by a daughter-in-law, Sandy Deich, 6 great grandchildren and one brother Ronnie Allen.

Visitation will be held at Denbo Funeral Home in English, IN on Tuesday, May 19, 2026, from 11:00 A.M. until 1:00 P.M. EST. The funeral will be held at 1:00 P.M. with Bro. Tim Jellison officiating. Burial will follow in the Taswell Cemetery.
