Louella Frances Stroud "Aunt Lou", age 85, of Tell City, Indiana passed away on March 25, 2022 at St. Vincent's Hospital in Evansville, Indiana.

She was born on August 26, 1936 to Mitchell Sturgeon and Flora (Poehlein) Sturgeon in Tell city, Indiana.

Louella lived a Christian life and was a very spiritual person.  She had a wonderful sense of humor and loved to write short stories and poems.

Louella's family says she had an uncanny ability to remember everything and everyone. Louella was well known for her "utility quilts" and everyone

who has been blessed to receive one cherishes their "Louella Quilt". Her salesmanship was second to none; she was a true entrepreneur.

She had two cats that she loved, Stubby and Jr. Noel.

Louella is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Reverend Theodore Stroud, her son Reverend Randal Stroud, and her siblings

Roy Sturgeon, Margaret Thomas, and Eugene Young.

She is survived by children Larry Stroud, Dennis (Cora) Stroud, Scotty (Jan) Stroud, brother Walt (Cathy) Sturgeon, grandchildren; Becky (Mark) Norman, Michael Stroud, Carrie (Derek) McRae, Kathy Stroud, along with 6 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild and many nieces and nephews.

Cremation was chosen with a Memorial Service to be announced at a later date.
