Malcolm Deuser, age 88, of Leavenworth, IN passed away at Cedar Court Assisted Living in Corydon, IN on Monday, April 6, 2026.
He was born on November 25, 1937, in Louisville, KY to George and Sibyl (Becker) Deuser. He married Sandra (Singleton) Deuser.
He is preceded in death by his wife, two sons, Mark and George Deuser, a daughter Eileen Deuser. His parents George and Sibyl, brothers, Courtney, Jack and Carl Deuser.
Malcolm is survived by his sons, Chet Deuser, Danny Grant and a daughter, Rebecca Stone. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Zachary Grant and Avery Grant, Christopher Deuser, Catlin Deuser, George Deuser, Savannah Wormley, Robert Wormley and Makayla England. He is also survived by a sister, Sidney Sullivant and a brother, Todd Deuser.
Malcolm retired from the Jefferson County Police Department where he obtained the rank of sergeant, also working on the K-9 unit of the department. He loved to play music and was also an ordained minister.
A graveside service be on Monday, April 13, 2026, at 11:00 A.M. at Leavenworth Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Leavenworth, Indiana. The family will greet friends at the Presbyterian Church in Leavenworth following the graveside service.
In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations be made to the Leavenworth Presbyterian Church.
